Toad the Cat

I adopted Toad from OKP, the Orphan Kitten Project at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, in December 2023 after her mother was killed by a speeding car. Despite having a rough start to life, Toad has blossomed into a curious, affectionate, and fearless cat who loves to explore anywhere her 20 toes will carry her. Toad is a preaxial polydactyl cat (also called mitten cats), meaning she has extra toes on her front feet resembling a thumb or mitten.
